This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a great group of kids who love learning. They are eager to try anything and love to analyze problems. Students enjoy making predictions. They create, build and inspire one another daily. My goal is to keep them engaged at all times.

My Project

Lego has fostered the skills of creativity and planning which are crucial in executing projects that are lengthy and contain a lot of parts. The basic coding concepts which can be applied in the real world, such as sequencing or ordering of actions, and cause and effect which teaches learners that every action can have an effect on something – be it positive or negative. Children will learn new and interesting concepts without even knowing that they are doing so, it will be that engaging. These materials will be used at school in the classroom.
