Creative Supplies for Everyday Learning

My students need basic creative supplies to complete fun and engaging academic assignments.

My Students

We are a rural, Title One School where many students are from low income families. We receive both Title and SAGE funding in order to provide small group opportunities and more individualized instruction.

My students this year have many diverse needs and a variety of learning styles.

Many students in the class are hands-on learners and love any type of technology, manipulatives, and movement activities. I am very proud of the perseverance and attitudes of my students this year. Over half of the students in my class are receiving academic support through Title One, RTI (reading or math interventions), or assistance through the special education program. Even with struggling academically, their love for learning, and positive attitude for wanting to learn the concepts keeps them working hard, and striving to better themselves.

My Project

My classroom needs help refreshing important everyday creative supplies. Our markers, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, and scissors are worn down and dried out. These supplies will help my third grade classroom provide many choices for my students when completing fun, engaging, hands-on projects that bring academic content to life.

Basic teaching and art supplies will help my students show their learning in many colorful ways.

With paper to cut, glue to stick, and markers, colored pencils, and crayons to color their world, my students will express themselves in exciting, creative ways. Without these supplies important projects will not be completed. Help us color the world for my third graders.
