Our school is located in St. Louis, MO in a small town. Our school is currently going through a major renovation and space is extremely tight with our growing population. My students are eager to learn & reach their goals. Their desire to learn and grow inspires me everyday. I want to create a comfortable & welcoming environment that supports all of my students' learning needs. The flexible seating options will help my students to be focused & comfortable while learning.
My Project
I teach fourth grade in a small classroom with limited space. This year I have a group of 23 students who are eager to learn! Since space is limited, I am looking to to maximize my small classroom space to support students' flexibility and learning needs. I believe that if students have a variety of comfortable seating options around the classroom, they will be able to focus & grow in their learning!
I want to provide my students with a choice of where they would like to learn each day.
I would like my students to be able to choose between a lap desk or portable recliner. Both of these seating options are great because my students can easily move these around our room. This choice will allow my students to personalize their learning experience & help with concentration.
