it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of anchor charts is a continuous activity in my classroom, especially in science. Anchor charts keep current and relevant learning and thinking visible by recording content, strategies, cues, processes, and guidelines during the learning process. These charts, created by the students, will allow them to refer to the topic at hand in their style! In addition, they can refer back to these during collaborative or independent work! These charts will also allow me to see exactly what they are doing and will allow me to understand their thought process and understanding of the material. What becomes a problem is the fact that the materials run out fast, pencils, markers, and crayons seem to disappear, and the paper goes quickly with the amount students I teach.
