My Project
My Kindergarten students are learning to read as they listen and read along differentiated online reading programs, such as RazKids and IXL. Digital reading programs are one of the excellent teaching tools as the students have high interest in it. My students have access to some of the online reading programs, but they require more tools, such as headphones and arts and craft materials to make the reading more enjoyable and meaningful.
Learning to read is more effective when the reading material is more fun and meaningful.
Differentiated reading level is crucial to make that happen. The students gain confidence when they have reading materials that are in the level, which requires individual headphones to utilize online reading programs. They also enjoy reading more when they have meaningful and creative arts and craft activities that are inspired about the books that they read. The Cricut machine can help to make arts and craft more fun, and the laminating pouches will protect and make their arts and crafts even more special.
