This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a creative group of 4th Graders that love to express themselves through writing. They are excited about school and love to learn. Providing them with these large Post-it pads and smaller, individual post-its will allow them to work both collaboratively and individually on projects and assignments.
My goal is to encourage my students to write as much as possible.
School should be a place of learning and fun! Research has shown that if students write about what they have read, they will retain that knowledge. Providing my students with multiple ways and means to express their knowledge in writing will keep them engaged in the learning process.
