Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing souls with special needs. They are highly creative and talented and thrive when given the opportunity to creatively express themselves. They discovered my personal smelly markers and posca pens and have used them all up and keep begging me to buy more. I would love the opportunity to let them be creative and do more project based learning with supplies to motivate them to express their talents.
Right now they are designing their dream houses and finding the area of their houses along with writing about how life will be in their houses.
They have created tiny models of their houses and they would like to do an art project related to it where they create the first piece of artwork for their future houses. It be something they can keep forever.
