My Students

I love my students because they try very hard and are very determined to succeed. I teach in a very low income/high poverty area with 100% free and reduced lunch. Although they are faced with many challenges, they give their all.

My Project

My first grade students are excited and eager to learn. Given the opportunity, with the necessary tool and materials, they will be able to explore, express, and display their creativity.

The pandemic caused a lot of disruption in education these past two years.

As a result, our children have experienced huge gaps in their learning. I will be using the Samsung Tablets to create a "Technology" station to target and help close the gaps. Our children are growing up in a technology-driven era. They are able to navigate their way around technology/electronics with enthusiasm and ease. Therefore, combining tech with learning equals success!
