This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Teaching 5th grade boys and girls is fantastic. Most of the children are economically disadvantaged and lack many things at home that would enhance their education, but they still strive for excellence.
The students just need refreshed school supplies.
The children are excited about the upcoming projects and learning and can hardly wait to begin. However, we do need a few things refreshed so that all the children have the needed items to complete projects and continue the school year fully prepared.
My Project
The boys and girls need several supplies to complete science related activities. They need the poster boards to attach their research and drawings in a neat and professional manner.
Children have fun learning when it is project based.
The boys and girls need colored pens, pencils, and ink to write information about learned science concepts. The multi-colored border and special cut scissors are needed to add flare and eye appeal to the children's projects.
Children love to be creative and enjoy learning even more when they can explore with their creativity. Help this great bunch of boys and girls flourish through project based learning.
