My Project

This looper is a popular product that not only garners some celebrity success, and therefore student interest, but also allows students to expand their creativity and productivity in our already successful "Expression Zone" from a previous Donor's Choose project! This is an intuitive tool that allows students to create and express their musical ideas in many layers, much like the popular performer Ed Sheeran does. The "Expression Zone" was designed to help students cope with the mental stresses that have become all too common in this heavily social media dependent world in which they live. Mental Health has been a cornerstone focus priority since coming back to school after the pandemic. Our school has made SEL training and development strategies one of our top professional development goals. As such, our school has created a wide variety of options and opportunities for kids to learn how to constructively deal with emotions and effectively cope with trauma. Chief among some of the most popular and sought after strategies has centered around music creation and expression. This extension of this already popular program ensures continued interest and success.
