My Project

The supplies in the donation will allow my students for next year to create interactive notebooks, posters, and informational brochures as they learn about ancient civilizations.

My goal is to let these ancient civilizations come alive through creativity.

In our class we learn about ancient civilizations such as ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, and ancient Rome.

Each year, my students amaze me with their creativity and ability when working on these projects. I see their excitement when their project is finished as well as seeing them be proud of themselves. This project will let my students worry about their creative process rather than the supplies they need to purchase to create these projects.

Students use and create Interactive Notebooks throughout the year where they can use the supplies to color maps, doodle notes, and vocabulary words. My students also create informational posters of Greek gods and goddesses. We make travel brochures to India and create personal coats of arms that represent them and their families.

Mrs. Nelson will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 2.
