Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have two groups of students who are learning Spanish and English together while learning reading, math, science, and social studies. They are smart, friendly, and curious kids. They are excited about working with technology like most kids their age.

My goal for this project is for my students to learn more than just about Native American tribes.

They will learn to work cooperatively in order to achieve their goal of creating a successful nation. They will have to use the knowledge gained through research and each other in order to open new levels. They will learn about the geography of their area and the natural resources available in the area. They will need this knowledge to determine the foods and clothing of heir nation. After the basic needs of their nation are met, they can then make advancements in their nation such as adding healers and warriors. They will gain experience points individually and the points will be added up for their nation. They will present their knowledge through magazine-style articles with sketches, captions, headings and titles.

My Project

The two IPads are very important for this project. The students will be able to access the use of the IPads after leveling up twice. This will motivate them to work together and do a good job. These IPads will not be used for testing like the rest of the technology available in school. They will just be used for classroom projects.
