Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love to be hands-on when solving problems critically. Using manipulatives they can be creative and solve real-world problems through math manipulatives.
Many students I work with have difficulties sitting down for long periods during the day, the flexible seating items will allow them to be squirmy while still engaging in classroom learning.
The white board will allow groups of students to engage in peer tutoring, as some students can teach others on a large white board. The bins are to organize our classroom items.
These items will help engage students in class, and bring a creative and active element to their math learning.
