This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a 2nd year teacher, I have been given such an amazing bunch of students! They are very eager to learn and show the most incredible zest when it comes to their learning. They are so full of courage and work with such grit on a daily basis. They have truly inspired me to work harder and become more effective for them.
My students are some of the most empowering individuals who have shown me they are ready for an accessible type of blended learning.
Due to their grit and optimism, I am inspired to push them to new and exciting levels in their learning.
I whole-heartedly believe my students are capable of blended learning and that they will go beyond in their learning. This would support their technological advancement and would allow for online learning, accessible lessons and lesson planning, and an autonomous learning environment.
My Project
As a lover of all things new, I have been excited about new teaching techniques, one being blended learning, which uses technology such as Document Cameras in the classroom for an interactive form of learning. This method of learning makes teaching more accessible for students such as English Language Learners, students who miss school, and those students who crave a creative and innovative way of learning! This camera would aid in creating lesson think aloud models, for live or recorded models, which will project on our board making their learning much easier.
