My Students

Every day I get the opportunity to teach my students grades K-8 the importance of art and thinking outside the box. My students are extremely creative and love being able to use art supplies in the classroom. My students love to use all kinds of materials to create. This year I want to surprise and delight my students with a few items to help make our projects even more fun!

My Project

My students love to draw and make art. However, because I see all students in grades K-8, my Sharpies quickly get used up for various projects. I need to restock my Sharpies for upcoming projects. Also, I have wanted to do a lesson using colored Sharpies that I think would be highly engaging for my middle school students. They are sometimes the most challenging age group to engage. I am hoping to get to use colored Sharpies for a couple of my upcoming projects. Lastly, I have wanted to do a painting lesson with my middle school kiddos but need canvas boards for my students to paint on so that they don't have to use paper.
