Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students at my school come from diverse and low social-economic backgrounds. They are a small group of 200 students, who embrace each other’s differences and are always willing to help one another out.

We consider our group a family, and we all try to help each other out when we can.

Within the library, I try to provide free opportunities for my students to create their own spirit shirts, and gifts for our local senior center, family, friends, and teachers. It is a life skill that students will be able to use in the real world. My students have the opportunity now to create 3d prints, clay ornaments, figures, and sublimation shirts. The Cricut mini and iron supplies will allow my students to decorate, bookmarks, backpacks, or inspirational quotes for their binders, and notebooks, while teaching them a life skill.
