Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in an overcrowded school is about 4000 students. Most of the students come from low-income neighborhoods and stressful surroundings.
I want my students when they enter the classroom to forget the outside world and open their imagination and creativity by using UpToDate technology.
Using the camcorder I can't wait to see what they can create. The students will become their own movie directors, class movie stars, and use their creative writing skills to write unique skits and present them to the class in another language (SPANISH). I truly believe that the best way to learn anything is through fun and hands-on activities.
Using the arts and crafts materials will help them be creative in other ways, while they are creating unique pieces of art we as educators can see the beauty that each child brings to this world.
Please help my students get these supplies and make this school year memorable.
