Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This fall, I’ll be joining a new school community, and while I haven’t met my students yet, I’m already planning with their creativity and success in mind. I know they are full of potential and deserve a space that encourages collaboration, expression, and confidence.
This project will provide mobile tables that allow us to transform our classroom into a dynamic, flexible learning environment.
These tables will make a big difference: scholars can easily shift between group work, design projects, and rehearsals without the physical limitations of static furniture. Whether they’re blocking a scene, sketching costumes, or devising original performances, they’ll be able to move freely and work collaboratively.
My goal is to create a classroom where artists feel empowered to take ownership of their creative learning. These scholars are special because they’re discovering who they are through the arts, and I want to give them the space and tools they need to thrive.
