it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is a joyful and energetic space filled with students who possess an incredible curiosity and love for hands-on learning. Many of our students come from families with limited resources, and they are particularly drawn to tactile activities like playdough, which allows them to explore and create. However, our supply of playdough and appropriate work surfaces is limited, making it challenging to incorporate this valuable tool into our daily activities.
This project aims to provide my students with the resources they need to fully engage in playdough activities and unlock their creative potential.
Your generous donation will provide us with a large quantity of non-toxic, vibrant playdough and durable, easy-to-clean trays. This will directly benefit my students by fostering fine motor skills, enhancing creative expression, and supporting academic concepts like shapes, sizes, and early literacy. The tactile nature of playdough also creates a positive learning environment, reducing stress and promoting focus, especially valuable on rainy days. Individual trays will further improve organization and collaboration by providing each student with a dedicated workspace. By helping us acquire these essential materials, you will make a significant difference in the lives of my students, providing them with the tools they need to learn, create, and grow. Play dough is a perfect rainy day activity!
