Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide my students with Kwik Stix tempera paint sticks, paper, and pencil cases to store their supplies.

Kwik Stix are a game-changer for young artists!

They allow students to paint without the mess of traditional paint and dry in just 90 seconds. These will help my students work efficiently while still experiencing the joy of painting.

Paper is the foundation of any art project, and we go through a lot of it! Having a steady supply of quality paper ensures that my students can practice drawing, painting, and creative storytelling.

Pencil cases will give students a way to store and organize their personal supplies, reducing the number of lost or misplaced materials.

I teach over 700 incredible young artists at a Title I elementary school, where creativity is a vital part of our students’ growth and expression. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and many do not have access to art supplies outside of school. They love experimenting with color, texture, and different materials, but we often lack the essential supplies to make their artistic visions come to life.

With large class sizes and limited funding, keeping up with art supply needs can be a challenge. Your support will allow my students to focus on expressing themselves through art without worrying about a lack of materials.

Your generosity will directly impact hundreds of young artists, helping them bring their ideas to life while developing their creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence. Thank you for supporting the arts and my students!

By funding this project, you will help ensure that my students have the supplies they need to create confidently and develop their artistic skills.
