Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is an inner city school and my students do not always get to celebrate the upcoming holidays. My school has created a day of celebration that we call Winterfest. Teachers sign up to host an activity for the students to participate in. This year I would love to host a DIY Christmas gift activity. I have a ton of blank t-shirts and would love to get some ready to press designs for students to create a special Christmas gift for someone in their life.

Many of my students are low income and cannot afford to buy a gift for someone special to them, so by providing them with this opportunity they can create a thoughtful custom gift.

I would love some help in helping my students make this holiday season a special one for them and some loved ones. This will allow students the opportunity to create both a t-shirt and a cup for someone in their life.
