Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every student learns differently. Teaching in a self-contained, special education class, we have many different learning styles and personalities.
My students work hard every day towards achieving the same academic goals as their general education peers.
The disabilities of the students in my class include autism, speech and language impairments, and learning disabilities.
My students come from low-income homes, and many of their parents have difficulty reading, writing, and helping with homework. My students need to know that they can do it with your help, of course!
My Project
My students love using our Cricut and Silhouette machines at school, and now that we're working and learning from home, I'd like to get a jump start for next year! Using the cutting machines has brought such joy to my students watching their creations come to life!
Vinyl is very expensive, and this project will replenish the vinyl that has been used throughout this school year.
My students will be able to design, cut, and create many different projects using the heat transfer vinyl, including hats, shirts, etc. These items have encouraged my students to explore their creativity along with learning different software.
