My Students

I am writing this project in hopes of benefitting our entire school! Some of our students come from stable households, while others are considered transient or even homeless. Our school has 70%-80% of kids receiving free or reduced lunch and there is almost a 50/50 split of white and Latino students. There is even a growing population of kids with a Pacific Islander/Marshallese background at our school.

We are always looking for ways to provide students with the best learning materials and experiences.

As teachers, we try to make our learning environment and the materials in it engaging and welcoming for our students.

My Project

Teachers at my school are always trying to go above and beyond to make our school building engaging and to make learning fun. Providing them with a Cricut machine will give them a way to do this. Once teachers are comfortable, this would be a great tool to use for STEAM activities in our classrooms, especially in upper grades.

Having a Cricut will allow students and teachers alike in my school to take their creativity to the next level.

Gifts can also be made by teachers and students. The possibilities of how this machine will be used are endless and up to the ideas of our students and staff!
