My students need some flexible seating, sensory items to assist with focusing and working, and school supplies to keep creating all their awesome projects. The students have various needs from sensory processing, autism, and learning disabilities.
Our school is full of little leaders, future firemen and women, inquisitive engineers, and beautiful citizens from all walks of life.
My school is home to passionate learners and very engaged and supportive parents.
I am honored to teach special education to first and second-grade students. My students are little rays of sunshine and bubbling with energy. I’m always looking for new and engaging ways to teach students and accommodate their various needs.
My students teach me every day and my heart is filled with joy. I strive to make an impact in their lives so they may make their mark on this earth and make a positive impact on others.
My Project
The pea pod would create a quiet and comfortable place for students to use as a cool chill zone to process emotions or settle down. The weighted snake would provide students with some input to assist in calming down strategies. We are a classroom focused on hands-on learning, creating, and constructing. We go through a lot of supplies growing our minds.
We would be so grateful for any donations to create projects to go along with stories read, add art to our writing samples, and places for students to sit using flexible seating and sensory regulation items so they may focus and learn!
