This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The 8th grade students at our school are very creative. I teach approximately 180 very diverse students everyday. My classes have about 30 students in each class with regular education and ELD levels 2 thru 4 intertwined. In order to differentiate for each learning level in my room I create a variety of structured projects for the students to complete.

During the year, we complete interactive notebooks, blackout poetry, community service projects for Veterans and Diversity Quilts.

Each project created needs to be colorful and artistic. That is why I am asking for crayons, markers, and sharpies for our classroom.

Students love to see their projects on display throughout the school and school year!
