Help me give my students a corner where they can express their thoughts through creative ways. We need craft materials, a sand box, sand art supplies, and beads.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As an elementary school social worker I am always looking for new ways on how to foster a safe place where connections can be made with the students I work with. Arts and crafts supplies are a must-have in any school counseling office.
I want to establish a creative corner of art-based activities that will provide a no pressure way for students to engage, talk, and explore challenging topics.
Engaging in arts and crafts can also be a healthy, calming strategy for many students.
With the art supplies I am requesting, I can offer a wide vary of choices to meet the interests of the diverse population I work with.
