Our fourth-grade students are from very diverse backgrounds. We have students who speak English as a second language, some from low-income families and single parent homes, many military families, traditional families, and even non-traditional families. We even have many families who continue to be impacted or displaced due to Hurricane Florence. We are all unique and have unique needs to best help us grow!
They inspire me to be a better teacher every day and really set the stage to engage.
I want our children to come through our doors excited for what is next each and every day. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are the future, and I want to help build a strong foundation.
I am so excited to bring creative opportunities using the hand-on technology of a Cricut Maker. It will give my students the ability to bring their ideas to life. From research projects to STEAM activities, using materials such as paper or fabric, there will be plenty of opportunities for my students to explore. It will allow students to be successful that would not otherwise have the resources to let their creative talents shine.
Not only will the students have endless possibilities, but I will also be able to use the Cricut Maker as a teacher.
Rather than buying overpriced learning items from the teacher store, I can create my own based on the exact needs of my students.
