This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to be hands on with their
projects.
These tools and Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give them the resources to be creative collaboratively. One of their favorite things to do is create infographics about each unit that we learn, and the paper and colored writing tools will help them do just that.
With these classroom art supplies the students will have no bounds as to how they can express their knowledge on endless topics throughout the school year. They can choose which supplies will best help get their message across. When given the opportunity my students always pick the hands-on or outdoor activity when possible. They find that they can better recall and show what they have learned when creating a poster or drawing notes in color. The white board markers will give them colorful options on drawing world diagrams of how energy, oceans, and winds flow. With the paper they will create meaningful posters on different environmental topics, build small scale cities, and create 3D footprints and resources with the playdough. The scissors markers, and take will be a continued staple to our hands-on learning, weather it is for a project, lab, or sketch notes. These varied tools will help to enhance my students learning, and give them meaningful time to process their work away from the computer.
