Creative Carousel as We Soar in Our 6th Grade Circus!
Help me give my students and I access to a variety of crafting supplies to help create our classroom theme for the year, UniverSOAR circus! They can utilize their "Creative Carousels" and express their imagination innovation.

My Project
One of the greatest rewards is serving as a teacher for 50 bright, inquisitive, creative, hardworking, and ambitious students. Since my first year of teaching, utilizing the theme of "SOARING," the classroom is modeled to reflect this theme. SOAR represents 4 houses or teams: Selflessness, Optimism, Ambition, and Resilience. This year's theme is UniverSOAR Circus. The supplies requested help design and develop a classroom theme that reflects all cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds represented within our school and in the global society.
With your help, my students will take "center ring" in a colorful, collaborative circus of creativity, where students can to design, create, and build their classroom space together.
These various craft supplies will used to help my students build our classroom space. Each year students assist me in decorating my classroom space; this includes use of paper and flags to create classroom symbols, flags to represent each "house" in my class, and markers and pens to help decorate our classroom space.
Funding for this project allows students to create their classroom for the next 180 days. It gives the opportunity to create their own environment in which my students are able to SOAR in an environment that is safe and feels like their second homes!
