This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A group of my 6th grade students are very excited to use the arts for school beautification community service projects. They are currently working on a school mural. Next, they are going to cover the art room cabinets with peal and stick paper. They will measure and cut the paper to the right length and then stick it on without leaving bubbles. They will do the same thing to the counter tops with the marble paper. Once they have covered the cabinets, they can put the handles on. My students can't wait to get started and take on leadership roles.
