My Project

My half-day kindergarten class is transitioning to a full-day kindergarten this school year. There’s never been a better time to receive creative art and sensory play materials for me to transform my academic-structured half-day kindergarten class into a fun, safe and creative full-day learning environment.

More hands-on materials are needed to provide a robust and playful learning experiences for our young learners.

The art easels, finger paints, dry erase markers and whiteboard erasers will be used for various activities like drawing, painting, and practicing handwriting, making it a perfect tool for creative play and educational development.

Sensory play promotes the development of language skills and motor skills. It also helps with cognitive growth, fosters social interactions, and encourages experimentation. The two sensory bins, water beads and sensory sand will be utilized in our sensory center that allows kindergarteners to discover, imagine and learn while engaging their senses.

The donation of this project will be used for a well-organized creative art and sensory center that will provide invaluable opportunities for my students to practice problem-solving, communication, and creative thinking skills in a safe environment.
