Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The art supplies and organizers in this project will be essential to the safe and creative learning environment for my kindergarten students. The organizers with their materials close at hand for each pair of students will allow for greater choice and feelings of safety in the classroom.
The crayons and pencils, organizers and glue will allow for my students to feel that these basic academic learning needs are taken care of.
In turn, they will feel greater compassion in sharing supplies and ideas and smiles with their classmates. A safe, caring, and well-resourced classroom removes some critical obstacles to learning.
