This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students are very hands-on learners. They always need to touch something so having these different resources will help progress their learning greatly. The magnetic tiles and lego pieces will help them work on their fine motor skills as well as promote their creative thinking.
Learning should be fun!
Students should want to learn and want to be at school. The carpet for our reading center will be a great addition and make sure they can read comfortably. The paint will also help their fine motor skills and just help them be as hands-on as possible. My students are very grateful and appreciate every opportunity to do more than sit in their desks with a pencil!
