My Students
Our students strive to be leaders in all aspects of their learning. We are a population of over 1,200 young minds who are strong in every way. When presented with a problem, their first question is not, "Who is going to do this for me," but rather, "How can I solve this problem with the best outcome?"
Our community values art education at every level, strengthening its importance in the classroom.
My students take art class every day, year-round, creating a unique experience in our public school. Their passion for learning about art inspires me daily. They thrive using traditional art materials and it is my hope to continue introducing a variety of new media. This year we have utilized Photoshop to create t-shirt logos, artist parodies, and have developed stop-motion animation using iMovie.
My Project
My 8th-grade art students will use the iPad cases during their stop-motion, iMovie, and animation productions. In order to protect our new iPads, in The Creation Studio, the use of a protective case is important for future ZMS students.
I feel it's essential to teach our students how to be responsible with the tools we give them to explore.
The cases will give us additional peace of mind when being used. The style of the case has another important feature, in addition to protection. The stand will give students a variety of ways to shoot their stop-motion scenes.
