My Project

Students work their way through supplies like pencils and hot glue sticks quickly so we stock up when possible! Other items such as bandsaw blades and book binding awls are more difficult to come by. That's why we're so thankful for your support of our classroom!

Your donations will facilitate student drawing, sculpture, book binding, and more in all grade levels!

After discovering earlier how paper making relates to Urban Infrastructure and has evolved with technology, 8th grade students will use the awls and leather working tools to create bound sketchbooks or printmaking styrofoam to create greeting cards with their handmade paper. 7th grade has been hard at work creating recycled sculptures but is running low on hot glue. In addition, the bandsaw blades will make it easier to cut materials such as recycled cardboard. Once 6th grade has mastered shape and contour line, we will use the printmaking styrofoam to create a series of multimedia artworks.
