My Project

My project is all about allowing my kindergarten students the freedom to create projects while developing fine motor and writing skills. During my 33 years as a kindergarten teacher, I have seen the Writing Center rapidly become the students' favorite station.

My students have often asked me if it is okay if they play school while they are actually using the Writing Center and Creation Station supplies.

Of course, you can! Kids often learn best through interaction among their peers and what better way to experience learning to read and write than making memories with your newfound friends?
