Creation Station - Hands On Learning

Help me give my students the sand/sensory table, kinetic sand and figurines to build and create things with their hands. These items introduce higher level thinking and allow for scientific discussions at a young age.

My Project

My Pre-K Students at Cross Timbers Elementary love to build and create things with their hands. The Sand and Water Table exploration center can be set up anywhere - indoor or outdoor. It's the perfect introduction to cooperative play, it has two plastic tubs that let children play side by side. The tubs can be lifted out easily so it will be a breeze to change out sand to water or to change when teaching a different unit.

The sand and water table can be two of the most popular areas in the classroom for young children.

Some of the higher levels of learning children will develop with the sand and water table are: Sensory exploration, Mathematical Learning,

Scientific Concepts, Language Development, Creativity and Social Skills.
