Creating With Cubelets and Helpful Ideas From TPT

My Students

My students are from a low-income, rural community and I want to bring engaging, hands-on learning exploration to the classroom. They come to school with many challenges, but they are enthusiastic, fun-loving learners ready to participate and engage. My students are creative, inventive, and imaginative whether they are learning at home or at school.

Being new in second grade, I want to incorporate classroom tools for the best learning environment for my little learners while they practice social distancing in the classroom.

As my students continue to learn, I want to have the best instruction to help them obtain their academic goals in reading, writing and math. These supplies will be beneficial towards that goal.

My Project

I am asking for two amazing supplies for my classroom. TeachersPayTeachers (TPT) is an online store that provides high-quality materials created by teachers. TPT resources are aligned to the learning standards and they are visually appealing for maximum student engagement. Cubelets are the perfect hand-on tool for users of any skill level to build an understanding of how to solve problems with data.

A gift card for TPT will provide quick & easy access to engaging standards-based lessons to enrich the students and cubelets will support hands-on learning.

Cubelets robot blocks provide new ways to learn about the problem-solving process, while at the same time increasing student knowledge of coding skills. With Cubelets students can program seven different robot behaviors, including the commands to follow, to spin in multiple directions, to locate edges using sensors, to run away, and to follow movements from above and from the side. Students can combine the Cubelets in various ways to create different movements.
