My Project

My district is lucky enough to have a 3D printer for our students to learn modelling and CAD design skills. However, we are running out of filament for our printer. I am committed to having my library be a place that helps students develop practical skills for their future.

3D printing has emerged as a transformative tool in today's world, and integrating it into our curriculum will empower students to succeed in higher education and the workforce.

Students will be using the 3D printers to apply math concepts, solve real-world problems while collaborating with their classmates, and to create tangible models of their learning in multiple content areas.

Acquiring filament for our 3D printer is essential to enriching the learning experiences of our students and preparing them for success in the future. This minor investment will have yield significant returns by allowing our students to gain knowledge and explore skills, developing the confidence to excel in their chosen fields.
