My Students

My amazing art students are nothing short of genius! Ranging from Grades K1-8, my school is an urban, public school that was not able to acquire proper funding for this year's visual art room, or as I call it: the ART STUDIO! My students are caring, kind, and gentle. They put their best foot forward for every art project.

My Project

My students come from an urban setting where funding for art materials is limited. I teach grades K-8, and I think my students deserve the same quality art supplies as their suburban counterparts. Creating a fully functional visual art studio will empower my students to explore, problem-solve, and express themselves in creative ways through painting.

My students deserve to paint with high-quality paintbrushes that are not falling apart all the time.

They deserve to paint on heavy-duty sulphite white paper, not leftover newsprint or photocopy paper. My students deserve to use paint that is not dried out, or clumpy. They deserve bright neon colors, and vivid sets of colors that elicit joy and positivity. Help my students experience a real visual art studio!
