Creating Space with Chromebooks

Help me give my students in "Race and Ethnicity in Literature" and "Gender and Identity in Literature," a safe space to work effectively with Chromebooks and charging stations.

My Project

Our students have their own Chromebooks; however, life sometimes prevents students from showing up to class with charged working devices. These classroom Chromebooks would serve as support for those times when students were unable to charge their own Chromebooks, or maybe they forgot to bring them to school. I want students to engage in the learning process, and I never want supplies to impede the process.

In the past, I kept extra paper and pencils, but now I need a few extra laptops!

I know it is a big ask, but it is important to our welcoming and inclusive space to provide the basic building blocks for success in class. Help me create a supportive learning environment for all! Seniors in Race and Ethnicity are engaging in deep studies of bias, racism, and our histories, and we need to have a space that allows us to dig right in and not be slowed by obstacles that can be avoided.
