This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a class of 16 amazing seventh graders who are eager to learn and deserve endless resources, experiences, and opportunities. They come from different backgrounds, have a wealth of experiences, and have a lot to contribute to our diverse learning community. They are eager for knowledge and engaging opportunities to learn.
My Project
It is essential that every teacher has access to a functioning printer/copier at our school. I use the printer/copier to print labels for my students, copy off poems or news that would pique my readers' interests, or copy information to send home to parents.
Having this printer will help to send brochures or updated materials home during this virtual learning season.
It would give me the ability to come up with supplemental learning materials or anything we need to keep students abreast of district school news and encouraging reading material to enhance learning and better attitudes about living during these trying times. Thank you for your generous donation!
