My Students

My students are junior high schoolers who come to my classroom directly after PE. They are vibrant, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. They are a delight to teach!

Some are excitable, some are quiet, but each individual has a story to tell and a life to live.

They encourage me and bring me to my best.

Life for a middle schooler is hard, with adults fussing at them throughout the day. This responsible environmental water bottle will get them approval all day long!

My Project

So many of our middle schoolers choose to drink water from wax-coated paper cups day after day, resulting in waste. They walk straight from PE to the cafeteria, where our cafeteria manager kindly provides ice water and paper cups all day long for all students. This adds up! Twenty-five students with a paper cup each day go through over a hundred cups in a week!

I'd like to see them using reusable water bottles to eliminate the damage to our environment and to teach them to be responsible consumers and cooperative residents of our planet.

They will be proud to have their own brand-new water bottle.
