This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Curious, inquisitive and adventurous - that's what best describes my fifth-grade class. They are always eager to learn and share their creative ideas with others. Although they are talented, they wish to have creative outlets of self-expression. This project will help them visualize and enhance their work through technology.
Let's get them excited about learning and give them the tools to help them succeed!
Since we are a federally designated Title I School in the heart of Miami, most of my students come from predominantly low-income homes, but they are eager to learn.
We have the honor of working in an inclusion class where many students have a disability or have difficulty learning. Please help my students achieved beyond their exceptionalities and provide them with the confidence, knowledge and the tools they need to succeed. With your help, we can make sure they are able to succeed, especially with the power of learning through technology.
My Project
I am very excited about engaging fifth-grade students with STEM activities! With the help of a Microsoft Surface PRO, students can work in groups to solve STEAM activities while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and communication.
We need a Surface Pro 6 to help teachers and students engage in STEAM lessons using technology as a creative conduit.
A Surface Pro can help students master the technological skills necessary to integrate STEAM activities by conducting virtual science simulations, analyzing real-life problems, visualizing abstract math concepts, and exploring design principles within our class!
With your help, the Surface Pro will put the "T" in STEAM - bringing technology and the digital tools necessary to help create the future scientist and engineers that our country needs. Having a document camera will help students and teachers share their work on the Promethean board. Let's inspire engineering, curiosity, and creativity together!
