Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are artists. They are authors and illustrators, they truly enjoy the feeling of being able to publish their own stories and ideas. Our writing center is in serious need of new materials. We are in need of cardstock, laminating sheets and stickers.
We have recently finished our unit on characters and the setting of a story and my students are eager to use more and more of their time to publish their own stories.
Our classroom authors and illustrators are working on their basic skills, that will open many doors into their educational future. They are working on literacy- writing and labeling along with illustrations that allow them to brainstorm and create a masterpiece.
