Creating Photo Books Using Camera and Word Processing Software!

My students need Microsoft Office Home and Student and a camera battery charger set for Writer's Workshop using our camera and computer.

My Students

I am a first-grade teacher in a wonderful school in Wisconsin. My students are very special, and I just love going to school every day to see the sparkle in their little 5- to 8-year-old eyes. I also get to connect with students of various ages during and after school. I truly have the most special job in the world and treasure every day with my students! We participate in so many fun activities throughout the year, and our hope is to add even more.

My Project

I teach Writer's Workshop on a daily basis in my classroom, and my students love to work on the classroom laptop. I am requesting a copy of Microsoft Home and Student, so that my students can create Word documents and classbooks on the computer. With Microsoft Word, they will be able to type in their stories, so that we can hang printable copies up on the wall. Microsoft Word is a great platform because it allows editing and saving on the desktop. With Microsoft Word students can share their work. They can also create Powerpoint presentations and slide shows. I am also requesting a camera charger and battery set, so that students can use our class camera to take photographs for use in the books that they create!

My students will love being able to work on our classroom laptop with word processing software and taking pictures with the classroom camera to make photobooks.
