Students in the Entrepreneurship classes will run a small t-shirt business. Through creating and operating a t-shirt business, our students will learn entrepreneurship skills that can be utilized in a real-world setting. Students will learn about various business structures, creating business plans and the importance of properly handling financial responsibilities. In the past, my students ran simulations to learn different aspects of business and their goal was to complete each year with a profit. These students will now create their own products to sell!
This school year, my students plan to make t-shirts in their Entrepreneurship classes.
They'll need a cricut machine and a heat press.
As part of running their small business, students will create budgets based on required purchases , and what they anticipate their sales to be. Once the project is has started, they analyze their business using financial statements. This project addresses many standards across business education like entrepreneurship, financial literacy, economics, marketing, accounting, management, and many more!
