Creating Optimal Learning Environments

Help me give my students an even more robust optimal learning environment, made possible by utilizing the Cricut to enhance and customize their classroom in all kinds of fun and engaging ways that support inclusive practices.

My Project

West Hawaii students are resilient in the ways they are persevering through many hardships facing public education caused by the pandemic. The I&M Care Packages that we received earlier this school year have been well loved and used by the students in helping them recover from the traumas of the pandemic. It is now time to create an even more robust optimal learning environment, by utilizing the Cricut to enhance all aspects of the classroom, including social emotional learning.

The classroom environment has a major impact on the way students of all ages learn.

Although every pupil learns in an entirely independent way, by initially setting boundaries and standards, creating a safe and inclusive environment and being consistent in the delivery of curricula, assessment and reflection, a teacher can provide an optimal learning environment.

The possibilities are endless and teachers can customize their classroom spaces and materials in all kinds of fun and engaging ways that support inclusive practices. You can make just about anything with it, like classroom decor, labels, classroom doors, anchor charts, and signs. You can personalize all kinds of student items from water bottles, name tags, book bins, charts, and folders. The sky is the limit and the creativity is endless. Using the Cricut in the classroom will provide durable classroom materials that are personalized and welcoming for all students.
