This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our city is the poorest and one of the most dangerous cities in the US. School is typically the only safe haven these kids know. Our schools, for a variety of reasons, lack the resources to provide these amazing kids with the education they deserve. By investing in these kids, you're giving them the opportunity to dream of a better future for themselves and their families as well as the city. They are very eager to utilize all-new technology in the 21st century.

My Project

The students will sketch out a drawing of their inventions and design it in a 3D program to print. This printer we are looking for will help complete the whole creating process with a tangible product.

Having this 3D printer will help all the students in competition.

The lesson will be on designing a product and how so important it is to have a prototype.

They will gain real-world exposure and be able to compete with cutting-edge equipment.

Each student will have the chance to print out their prototype and display it for all to judge. They will learn that presentation is everything.

A professional needs the right equipment to help.
