Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Having visual aids in the classroom is important for students. It creates a welcoming atmosphere, a special place where they feel comfortable and part of it. I have created a wall of memories for my students in my classroom.
A wall of memories holds significant value in a classroom setting, visualizing shared experiences and achievements throughout the academic year.
For students, it offers a tangible connection to their journey of growth and learning, fostering a sense of belonging and pride in their accomplishments. This display celebrates individual achievements and strengthens the sense of community within the classroom by highlighting collective successes and cherished moments. Furthermore, a memory wall is a source of inspiration, motivating students to strive for excellence and creating a positive learning atmosphere that encourages collaboration and camaraderie among peers. Essential supplies to make a vibrant memory wall include photo printer ink for crisp images, high-quality photo sheets to preserve memories, and a sturdy rolling cart for easy mobility.
